WWE has confirmed that WrestleMania 43 will be taking place in Riyadh, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This will obviously take WWE’s partnership with Saudi Arabia to the next level and they’re set to work on the specifics soon enough.
According to Fightful Select, WWE’s plans for Saudi Arabia and WrestleMania are starting to take shape, but nothing is final yet. It’s noted that WWE currently has three event dates penciled in for 2026 and only one for 2025, though it’s unclear if that schedule has changed.
People involved in planning Saudi events say no firm date has been given, as the timeline depends on venue decisions that will be worked out soon. One insider even suggested a custom-built structure might be needed to handle an event as large as WrestleMania. Planning for the event concepts is expected to begin in the coming weeks.
Earlier this year, there were rumors of WWE holding “WrestleMania-branded” shows in Saudi Arabia while still keeping the main WrestleMania in North America. However, sources close to the Saudi side say the Saudi government wanted the real WrestleMania. WWE sources suggested this is why the company has been heavily promoting WrestlePalooza as a major event and intends to keep building it up.
WWE’s choice to hold its biggest show of the year in Saudi Arabia is a big step in its global plans. The date and location aren’t set yet, but early hints suggest it will be a huge event, possibly in a specially built arena to fit the massive show.
Will WrestleMania 43 in Saudi Arabia set a new standard for the Grandest Stage of Them All? Sound off in the comments.
