Wisconsin football extended an offer to four-star class of 2027 wide receiver Javien Robinson on Tuesday.
Despite Robinson’s strong ranking, the Badgers are one of the first Power Four programs to join his offer sheet. The other eight schools to offer the wideout thus far are Akron, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Syracuse, Temple, UConn, Duquesne and Sacramento State.

247Sports currently ranks Robinson as the No. 136 overall player in the class of 2027, the No. 20 wide receiver and the No. 6 recruit from the state of Pennsylvania. While the recruiting service has yet to release a prediction for his landing spot, On3/Rivals lists Rutgers as the early favorite at 43.5%. The wide receiver’s four-star rating and fringe-top-100 ranking should attract some of the nation’s top programs, which could alter that forecast.
Wisconsin has been busy on the class of 2027 recruiting trail as of late. It recently took two major swings in offering five-star tight end Ahmad Hudson and four-star tight end Jaxon Dollar. Robinson is added to the program’s growing list of blue-chip offers in the class, specifically at an offensive skill position.
Wisconsin’s class of 2026 still ranks No. 58 nationally with 14 commitments. The group recently took a significant slide after high-three-star defensive back Zachary Taylor flipped to TCU.

With the 2026 cycle mostly complete, Luke Fickell and his staff will need to use 2027 to reestablish the program’s place as a top-30 recruiting destination.
