WNBA 2025 All-Rookie team headlined by Rookie of the Year award winner Paige Bueckers

The WNBA released its All-Rookie team for the 2025 season, with Dallas Wings guard and Rookie of the year award winner Paige Bueckers headlining the star-studded group.

Rounding out this year’s All-Rookie team are Washington Mystics guard Sonia Citron and forward Kiki Iriafen, Seattle Storm center Dominique Malonga, and Golden State Valkyries forward Janelle Salaün. Malonga and Salaün both helped their teams make the playoffs in their first year in the league.

Bueckers was expected to earn All-Rookie honors after being the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 WNBA draft and being named Rookie of the Year. The Wings guard led all rookies in total points (692) and points per game (19.2). Bueckers also entered the WNBA record books by scoring the third most total points for a rookie in league history. Only Caitlin Clark last season and Seimone Augustus in 2006, scored more points Bueckers in their rookie seasons. The UCONN product was also named to the All-Star team in her first year as a pro.

Citron, who was the third overall pick in the draft for Washington was also an All-Star and averaged 14.9 points, 4 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game this season. The rookie out of Notre Dame also shot 44. 4 percent from 3-pt range, which led the entire WNBA. Citron finished the year with 657 points which was second for rookies this season and fifth all-time amongst first year players.

Iriafen also made the All-Star team in her first year out of USC as the No. 4 overall pick for the Mystics. She averaged 13.3 points and 8.5 rebounds while finishing third in rookie scoring. Iriafen finished in the top five among rebounders in the WNBA this season.

Molanga became a factor in the middle for the Storm in year one, helping the team make the postseason behind her 7.7 points and 46. rebounds per game while shooting 55.1 percent from the field. The Cameroon native who was the No. 2 overall pick also blocked 28 shots for Seattle.

Rounding out the team, representing Paris, France, Salaün made her mark with the Valkyries in hers and the franchises inaugural season by scoring 11. 3 points and grabbing 5.1 rebounds per game, helping the team make the playoffs their expansion year. Salaün’s younger brother Tidjane was selected sixth overall in the 2025 NBA Draft in June by the Charlotte Hornets.
