Griner has earned 10 All-Star selections and is a two-time Defensive Player of the Year. She has also represented the U.S. internationally, winning three Olympic gold medals.

In 2025, Grinner joined the Atlanta Dream on a one-year deal. She averaged 9.8 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.2 blocks in 39 games, and helped her team finish with the league’s third best record, earning a playoff berth.

This offseason, Griner has continued competing in Unrivaled, the high-level 3×3 women’s basketball league featuring top talent. Playing for Vinyl BC, she helped the team secure a playoff berth after defeating the Lunar Owls 75‑68 on Monday. Griner complemented Rae Burrell’s 30-point performance with 12 points, while converting six of her nine shots from the field.

Following the win, Griner took to Instagram on Tuesday to celebrate the team’s achievements. She posted photos and clips from the game set to the Beastie Boys’ “No Sleep Till Brooklyn,” garnering congratulatory messages from fans and her colleagues.
