The Dodgers departed Toronto and headed home to Los Angeles on Saturday night as back-to-back World Series champions. But not everything that was a part of their title triumph went west with them.
Instead, some of the Dodgers’ history-making gear went to Cooperstown. Here is the list of things that the team has donated to the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum:
• A base from that Game 3 thriller.
• Manager Dave Roberts’ road jersey.
• President of baseball operations Andrew Friedman’s championship celebration shirt.
The Dodgers’ victory gave them their third championship of the 2020s and their ninth in franchise history. That’s tied with the A’s and Red Sox for the third-most championships all-time.
