The victory also snapped LCU’s 22-game home win streak and helped the Lady Buffs improve to 16-1 on the season and 8-0 in Lone Star Conference play. Prock’s team has now earned three ranked wins this season, taking down No. 21 Colorado Mesa and No. 23 Ferris State earlier in the 2025-26 campaign.
WT’s only loss came in the season opener at the hands of No. 1 Grand Valley State at the D2 CCA Tip-Off Classic. Since that contest, though, the Lady Buffs have won 16 consecutive games by double digits.
WTAMU’s next big test will come in a few weeks, as a matchup against No. 3 Texas Women’s University looms on Jan. 31 in Canyon.
