TNA Wrestling and WWE’s partnership has been a headline magnet since May 2024, when Jordynne Grace made her shocking debut on WWE NXT. That moment kicked off nearly two years of crossover appearances between NXT and TNA Impact!—but that partnership could soon be history.
In a major update, media executive Blake Avignon—known for breaking the WWE–AAA acquisition news—has reported that TNA’s new multi-year U.S. TV rights deal with AMC is done. And it’s big. We’re talking around $30 million, which is triple what early talks suggested.
“Sources: TNA is headed to AMC. The multi-year U.S. rights deal is finalized and is expected to land around $30M,” Avignon revealed.
The landmark deal comes with big changes—and one of those could be the end of the WWE–TNA partnership. According to sources, the AMC deal has triggered the 60-day termination clause in WWE and TNA’s working agreement. If WWE pulls the trigger, that nearly two-year run of crossover action between NXT and Impact! could be over by early 2026.

AMC, for its part, added fuel to the fire by recently posting a cryptic teaser showing a loud wrestling crowd with the simple date “1.15.26” plastered across the screen—seemingly confirming the TNA premiere.
The TNA roster isn’t being left in the dark either. A company-wide conference call is scheduled for 9:45 AM today, where talent will be officially informed about the deal, the premiere, and what’s coming in 2026.
The AMC deal is a big leap for TNA, especially since the network has a proven history of delivering massive audiences with pop culture juggernauts like Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, and Mad Men. Back in 2014, AMC was even rumored to be circling a WWE acquisition—so the network’s wrestling interest goes way back.
For TNA, this could be their biggest platform in over a decade. For WWE, it could mean closing the door on a partnership that made history but was never fully formalized.
