WWE Monday Night Raw in Raleigh Gets Earlier Start Time

by

WWE has officially adjusted the start time for the September 29, 2025 edition of Monday Night Raw in Raleigh, North Carolina.

The show is now scheduled to begin at 6:30 PM local time, suggesting that WWE is preparing for a double television taping to accommodate its upcoming global travel schedule. The timing change points to a likely 7:00 PM start for the Raw broadcast itself, one hour earlier than usual. This shift allows WWE to potentially tape an additional episode of Raw or other programming in the same night.

Typically, doors open 30 to 60 minutes before a WWE broadcast for dark matches or WWE Main Event tapings. The earlier start time creates a wider window for WWE to record extra content before their October slate ramps up.

WWE’s early October schedule is stacked. The company has SmackDown set for October 3, followed by Raw in Dallas on October 6. Immediately after, the roster flies to Perth, Australia for three consecutive shows: SmackDown on October 10, the Crown Jewel premium live event on October 11, and Monday Night Raw on October 13.

The decision to tape ahead would lighten the load for WWE’s talent and production teams as they head into that demanding stretch.

Aside from the Ticketmaster update, WWE has yet to make a formal announcement about the change in broadcast timing.

What do you think of WWE possibly running a double Raw taping to prep for their October tour? Should they adopt this strategy more often? Let us know in the comments below.
