Saraya didn’t return to WWE at Evolution 2, and now there’s a clear reason why — because WWE never had any plans to bring her back in the first place.
According to a report from Bodyslam.net, WWE has no interest in rehiring Saraya, despite her being openly vocal about wanting to return. The company hasn’t held any internal discussions about a possible comeback, and she was never considered for an appearance at Evolution 2 in Atlanta, despite fan speculation leading up to the event.
Before the show, fans were convinced something was brewing. One user on X (formerly Twitter) said they “knew” Saraya was on a flight to the event because she was being unusually quiet. After the event passed without her appearing, the same fan joked that it must’ve been a flight to Hawaii instead. Saraya responded, apologizing and saying that the love from fans had made her emotional. She had previously said she would’ve taken the call if WWE had reached out, but that call never came.
Now it’s been made clear that WWE has moved on. While Saraya remains active in AEW, fans who were holding out hope for a Paige return to WWE will likely be disappointed. The company isn’t interested in revisiting that chapter, regardless of her history or her popularity with longtime fans.
