WWE NXT Match Results, Highlights and Key Moments for September 2, 2025

Tonight’s WWE NXT airing September 2, 2025, promises an action-packed night live from the Capitol Wrestling Center (WWE Performance Center) in Orlando, Florida. The show sees WWE NXT Champion “The Ruler Of NXT” Oba Femi, Ricky Saints and Hank & Tank (Hank Walker and Tank Ledger) take on DarkState (WWE NXT Tag Team Champions Dion Lennox and Osiris Griffin, Cutler James and Saquon Shugars) in an 8-Man Tag Team Match. Plus, WWE SmackDown star Candice LeRae face TNA Wrestling star Xia Brookside in a WWE NXT Women’s Speed Championship #1 Contender’s Tournament First Round Match.

WWE NXT Results (9/2/25): Live Match Updates and Highlights

The show opens up with Vic Joseph, WWE Hall of Famer Booker T and Corey Graves welcoming us as Jaida Parker makes her way down to the ring for the first match of the night and Lash Legend follows.

Singles Match: Jaida Parker vs. “The Boujee Bully” Lash Legend

The match starts off with Lash pushing Jaida and Jaida pushes Lash back. Both women then lock up and Jaida hits a slap. Lash then sends Jaida into the corner and hits her with shoulders. Lash then gets Jaida up, but Jaida escapes and sends Lash into the corner and hits her with some shoulders. Lash then sends Jaida into the ropes and hits her with a shoulder tackle followed by a splash for a near fall. Jaida then tries to float over, but Lash holds on and sends Jaida’s head into the top and middle rope. Jaida then goes for a sunset flip and Lash windmills to stay on her feet. Jaida then hits a forearm and some arm wringers. Jaida then hits a knee to the midsection and a rollup for a near fall. Jaida then hits a crucifix for a near fall. Jaida then cinches in an arm bar. Lash then hits a forearm and she goes for a slam, but Jaida escapes. Lash then holds on to the ropes when Jaida goes for an O’Connor Roll. Lash then sends Jaida to the apron. Jaida then hits a forearm.

Jaida then goes up top and she hits a cross body, but because she slips on the turnbuckles, she doesn’t hit it perfectly. Jaida then gets a few near falls. Jaida then puts Lash in the ropes and Jaida hits the springboard seated splash attempt, but Lash grabs Jaida by the throat and hits a choke slam for a near fall. The referee then checks on Jaida to see if she can continue. Lash then hits a knee to the midsection and a rear chin lock. Lash then turns it into a reverse chin lock. Lash then hits a knee and an Irish whip, but she runs into a boot. Lash then blocks a kick and she hits a forearm. Lash then hits more forearms in the ropes. Lash then hits an Irish whip and a clothesline. Lash then gets a near fall.

Lash then cinches in a bear hug. Jaida then hits some elbows, but Lash adds more pressure with the bear hug. Jaida then hits some head butts to escape. Lash then hits a chop. Lash then hits a slam and she misses a splash when Jaida rolls away. Jaida then hits some forearms on Lash followed by punches. Jaida then hits a shoulder tackle, but Lash does not move. Jaida then hits a shoulder tackle and a flying shoulder tackle. Jaida then hits a running hip into the corner followed by a suplex attempt, but Lash escapes. Jaida then hits a lungblower.

Jaida then hits a blockbuster for a near fall. Lash then hits a knee and a uranage back breaker for a near fall. Lash then misses a shoulder and hits the ring post. Jaida then puts Lash in the ropes for the springboard seated splash. Jaida then gets Lash up for a Samoan drop and Lash goes to the floor and Jaida holds on by the hair. Jaida then gets Lash up, but Lash hits a bicycle kick on the floor. Lash then hits the Lash Extension onto to the announce desk. Lash then sends Jaida back into the ring and Lash hits another Lash Extension for the win.

The winner of the Singles Match, “The Boujee Bully” Lash Legend!

After the match, an enraged Parker blindsides Legend from behind on the entrance ramp and sends her crashing into the ring steps shoulder first. Parker then hits a Hip Attack on Legend that sends her crashing through two of the barricades.

We then see Blake Monroe with Adrianna Grace and they talk about make up. Blake says she likes someone who knows about fashion and glamour. Blake then says she thought she was done with Jordynne Grace, but Grace attacked her. Arianna then says she doesn’t like her either and they are not related. Jordynne then shows up and Blake leaves. Kali Armstrong then yells at Jordynne for interrupting her NXT debut. Kali then tells Jordynne she has a problem with her.

We then see Je’Von Evans walking in the backstage area.

Je’Von Evans then makes his way down to the ring. Evans then starts off by saying he appreciates the fans. Evans then says he knows the fans expect him to come to the ring and be excited, but after Heatwave he doesn’t think that he can do that. Evans then says he thought he had Oba Femi when he beat Trick Williams in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and while WWE Legends had given him great advice, Heatwave felt different. Evans then says he felt nervous and if there was any night he was going to be NXT Champion, it was August 24. Evans then says he called his baby sister to tell her that her older brother would be the youngest NXT Champion in history, but he didn’t do that.

Evans then says he heard the referee count to three, but he saw Femi’s foot under the rope. Evans then says that’s when Femi capitalized and before he knew it, Femi’s hand was raised in the air. He then apologies to then fans for letting them down, then says he also feels like he let himself down and didn’t talk to anyone about his feelings for a good week.

We then see someone driving a motorcycle appear on the big screen and they get off of it as Evans tells them that he isn’t playing around. The Undertaker’s gong then sounds, but Josh Briggs instead appears and says he hates everything Evans represents in the locker room. Evans then tells Briggs that he’s not trying to listen to him right now, but Briggs says Evans is from a generation that just tweets things. He then says he should’ve just confronted Femi in person to get an NXT Championship rematch, then tells Evans to try being him.

Evans then says he’s trying to be nice and tell him that he’s not in the mood respectively, but Briggs continues talking over him and says he’s not done talking. He then says Evans is looking for someone to get a gold star, but he’s not good enough at the end of the day and runs over Evans with a pump kick. He then delivers some stomps on Evans, then tells Evans he needs to learn when to fight and when to lay down. Briggs then grabs a chair from the outside, then sets it up and chokeslams Evans on top of it.
