Tatum Paxley, Izzi Dame, Jacy Jayne Segment
Tatum Paxley: Oh my gosh. Guys, you have no idea how much I love hearing this announcement. It just gives me goosebumps when I hear it, Tatum Paxley, NXT Women’s Champion. Guys, I could hear that announcement over and over again, but I know if I want to keep hearing that, I have to start listening to my friends. Last week, it didn’t really go the way that I planned it to. And I don’t know, I was just excited at first, we were fighting, and then we were dancing, and I just got carried away, guys. It was all my fault, my poor Izzi, you were just trying to protect me all night, and I’m the reason that we lost, and I feel horrible about it. It’s my fault, but Izzi, you forgave me, because that’s what best friends do.
Izzi Dame: Exactly, Tatum. I’ve been saying it all along, all The Culling and I want is what’s best for you. We know how long, long, long, and hard you have worked to get to this point in your career, to be a champion. But, Tatum, if you want to continue to be our silly, dancing, goofy, beautiful, awesome, amazing champion, you got to promise me one thing.
Tatum Paxley: What?
Izzi Dame: To stop making irrational decisions, and giving out title opportunities to everybody that walks through the door, okay, promise? We’re done.
Tatum Paxley: Izzi, I know that I could be a little bit impulsive, but you know what, that’s why I have you guys, thank you guys for reminding me that. But spinning that wheel was really fun, right, like, we all like the wheel.
Izzi Dame: Oh my god, Tatum, they would be entertained by a freaking fruit fly if you put it in front of them. This is not about what makes them happy, this is about what’s best for you. Do you want to be a champion for them, or do you want to be a champion for you? Because if you don’t recall, the last time you fought for them, you were left abandoned and alone. And The Culling and I took you in, and look at you now, you’re everything and more we ever imagined for you, you’re perfect.
Tatum Paxley: I know, you’re right, you’re right, it’s just why can’t I be a champion that does both? I want to give everybody an opportunity. I don’t want one girl in that locker room to feel the way that I felt.
Izzi Dame: Because, Tatum, the more you defend that title, the more you risk losing it. You’re starting to treat that title, like, it’s a participation trophy, just handing out opportunities to everyone. The reality is, not everyone deserves an opportunity at that title. You’re better than that. Don’t risk losing the title, don’t keep giving out free opportunities, okay? That’s not what’s best for you, and it’s not what’s best for that title.
Jacy Jayne: Tatum, Tatum, listen, nobody knows how you feel more than me. And to be honest, you are the point where you need to decide what kind of champion do you really want to be. When the star speaks, you sit down, and you shut your mouths. I run this place with a title or without a title. Tatum, you worked so hard, for so long, to get to where you are today, that now you want to prove to everybody that beating me at Halloween Havoc wasn’t a fluke, right? And the best way to do that is to be a fighting champion, right? So, please, erase any doubt you have in your mind or in any of these loser’s minds. But let’s not discredit Izzi, because Izzi is right, you shouldn’t just go blindly giving out opportunities to randoms but instead give opportunities to someone who has earned it. Someone who, oh, I don’t know, carried this division on her back, all year, somebody who deserves it.
Izzi Dame: Wow, Jacy, such big words for someone with such little significance these days. Too bad, Tatum is not falling for it, right, Tatum? Tatum, come on, she carries no weight right now, of course she would say anything to get a rematch. You have nothing to prove, you beat her.
Jacy Jayne: What’s the matter, Izzi, you don’t have any faith in your best friend to get the job done? Because, newsflash, it’s her title, not yours. You don’t even know what it means to hold a championship. Tatum, I think you need to be the one who’s in charge of deciding how you are remembered as champion, and the right thing to do would be to give the former champion a rematch.
Tatum Paxley: Look, I have to be smart about who I give an opportunity to, I have to be more selective. And I’m absolutely going to do that, right after New York. Jacy Jayne, at Gold Rush, you get your rematch, but it’s the last one, and I mean it.
Jacy is one cloud nine about the announcement and starts jumping in excitement with Tatum. Izzi Dame was left shaking her head to close this segment.

Alba says that there will be no match next week, because Thea Hail and Joe Hendry have no clearance. AVA is pretty sure that they security clearance or whatever Alba is talking about. If Alba so confident, why don’t she step in the ring tonight against Thea Hail. Page loves this idea, because if Alba could eliminate the threat tonight, the better off they will be in the end.
– We got a clip from Tom Rinaldi’s Exclusive Interview with John Cena. Cena contemplated joining the Marines, but a friend of his reminded him how much he loved professional wrestling, and if that would be something he would be interested in doing. When Cena saw a ring inside a gym in Orange County, he decided that he would work any bullshit job in order to making wrestling a weekend hobby for him. Cena knew that wrestling was attainable when he saw that ring through that gym window.

Blake Monroe Interview
Blake Monroe: I was so excited when I got your message. You know I always carry you with me and look what I got us.
Women From Hell Blake: Don’t kiss my ass, Blake. Congratulations, The Glamour, new NXT Women’s North American Champion. How’s victory taste?
Blake Monroe: Delicious, darling. I mean, it’s everything that I deserve, and The Glamour does always get what she wants. They all said, oh, Blake Monroe, she’s just a look, and I proved I’m more than that. I’m power.
Women From Hell Blake: Power fades, slips through manicured fingers, and I mean, deserved? Such an interesting word.
Blake Monroe: I’ll ask you a question.
Women From Hell Blake: How long until the light burns out, Blake?
Blake Monroe: It won’t. I worked way too hard to get here, and nobody is taking this title from me.
Women From Hell Blake: Sol never lost her title, and I mean, you drove a wedge through Sol Ruca and Zaria’s friendship, but you didn’t tear them apart. That title isn’t yours until you beat Sol.
Blake Monroe: Yes, it is, I mean, I am the total package, I’m the most complete woman in the locker room.
Women From Hell Blake: Sol Ruca is more complete than you. And with that mindset, she will take your title at Gold Rush, if you let her. You think that attitude is going to help you keep your championship?
Blake Monroe: Yes, I’m confident, I’m polished. The Glamour is a champion who doesn’t get her hands dirty.
Women From Hell Blake: Nothing about you is clean. The Glamour is as dirty as me in polish, and cracks under pressure. You are not going to beat Sol by outshining her, she is an incredible athlete, injured or not. There’s only way you can beat her.
Blake Monroe: How?
Women From Hell Blake: Think, Blake. Sol is not at 100%, but you can be, with be by your side. You are going to have to break her, make her feel every bit of pain, do whatever it takes to keep that title, remind her what she’s lost. You need to let me be a part of this.
Blake Monroe: I don’t think that’s the champion I want to be.
Women From Hell Blake: That’s the kind of champion you have to be, if you want to keep your title. I thought you love me. Don’t you want me to be a part of this? You need me and I always show up when you need me most. Go on, Blake, be glamour, blind them with your beauty, but hell is what makes them fear you.
Blake Monroe: Say I entertain this, say I break her, they won’t like this.
Women From Hell Blake: They won’t care.
Blake Monroe: They won’t?
Women From Hell Blake: No, because you still be champion. My girl, I don’t want to destroy you. You and I, we don’t compete, we coexist. I know you love to be adored, but you hate what you have to do to stay adored, and that’s where I step in. We need each other. The Glamour to be seen, and the women from hell to be remembered.
Blake Monroe: Spotlight needs darkness, and together, we make one perfect champion.
Women From Hell Blake: See you at Gold Rush, my love.
– We see Je’Von Evans talking to Leon Slater on the phone as he enters the Performance Center. Leon wishes that he was there. Je’Von tells Leon that he’s about to go to the ring and give the WWE Universe a big announcement. He got something lined up in the production truck, so he wants Leon to call him back in a few minutes.
– Sarah Schreiber had a backstage interview with Jordynne Grace. What was her takeaway from Kelani Jordan’s comments from last week? All Kelani Jordan did last week was trying to justify why she took the easy way out. Cheating isn’t original, it’s uninspired and lazy, literally, anybody can do it. What’s more important is what Santino Marella said about the Triple Threat for the TNA Knockouts World Championship at NXT Gold Rush. Before Jordynne was an NXT Superstar, she was a TNA Knockout, in fact, she was THE TNA Knockout. That title was synonymous with her name. Before Kelani even thought about stepping foot in a ring, while she was still flipping around Michigan State, Jordynne was the TNA Knockouts World Champion, not once, not twice, but three times. In two weeks, Jordynne has the opportunity course correct a division and make history. As for Lei Ying Lee, she will have to be collateral damage. Kelani keeps saying that the world is why she is the way she is now, but at Gold Rush, she can just blame Jordynne Grace.
Je’Von Evans, Leon Slater, DarkState Segment
Je’Von Evans: Alright, alright, alright, come on y’all, hold on, hold on, hold on. Yerp! Now, now, now, I’m not gonna lie, your boy is pretty excited about what he heard on Monday Night Raw last night. Je’Von Evans is gonna be in The Last Time Is Now Tournament. But hear me out, I ain’t gonna lie, your boy is pretty nervous, alright. Not only because I’m going against GUNTHER in the first round, which is crazy, but because I’m wrestling in Madison Square Garden at the age of 21, gang. Bro, look, MSG has been around longer than Je’Von Evans has been alive. But that’s next Monday, let’s talk about next Tuesday. So, you know, Leon and I, we got a pretty big announcement, and unfortunately, he’s not here physically in the ring to announce the announcement with me, but I got something figured out. So, Ms. Amy in the truck, can we please we get Leon Slater on the screen? Hold on.
Leon Slater: Yo, you get me on the screen, fam, this is crazy, big up to Amy in the truck.
Je’Von Evans: You know I got a little pull, a little bit. But look, bro, I know you’ve been doing your thing back home, and taking care of business, but that don’t mean I’m not scheming. So, I was talking to AVA, and I know you’ve been talking to Santino Marella, and they’re finally giving us what we want. And that’s an opportunity, next Tuesday, in New York City, at Gold Rush, to go against goofy ass DarkState for them Tag Team Titles, my boy. Let’s get to it, let’s get to it.
Leon Slater: Let’s get it, man, let’s get it. Hey, OG, after seeing what they did to our goats, The Hardy’s, at Halloween Havoc, and how they try to do you last week before you dipped out like you did, bro, we got to get this back the only way we know how, and that is jacking their ass clown gold, you feel me?
Je’Von Evans: Back in blood. Hey, look, look, look, you know it, I know it, everybody here in NXT knows, that when The Youngest In Charge and The Young OG is the same ring, we make some magic. And we’re going to do that next week, in the process of taking those tag team titles. And not only is that is going to happen, but.
– The lights go out in the PC. DarkState appears in the crowd.
Osiris Griffin: It sounds like we got our next two victims right in front of us. Hey, fellas, these young ins know we put down their daddies, the so-called greatest tag team of all-time.
Dion Lennox: Hey, Je’Von, you, your boy Leon and all these people feel like y’all the future of this business. But your future is in our hands, and we’re going to end the future in New York City.
Cutler James: You ducking out on us last week, that just bought you more time to think about the consequences of confronting us.
Saquon Shugars: Yeah, yeah, AVA and Santino got all the control, huh. Well, control don’t mean nothing unless DarkState enforce it, bruh. What is you even doing in there, boy? Evidently not thinking, because if you was, you and top boy up there would have taken your little beating at Bound For Glory, and charge into the game. But now you’re sitting there, looking stupid, without your man’s here to save. So, Leon, you funna do Gold Rush own your own.
Je’Von Evans: Hey, Leon, we got them. Come on, come on, we got them. Oh, y’all dumb as hell, dumbass. Hey, come on, Leon, you know what time it is. Let’s get to it.
Leon Slater slides into the ring. Je’Von Evans and Leon Slater get into a massive brawl with DarkState to close this segment.
– We see Trick Williams talking to Kelani Jordan in the backstage area. Kelani knew what she said about Trick last week, but the more she thought about it, the more she realized that he was right. It’s lonely at the top, especially when you’re the champion. If you want to be successful, the only person you got to worry about is yourself. Trick has been saying it for years. Kelani doesn’t care what anybody says, she’s picking Trick tonight. Trick tells Kelani that she has to be selfish sometimes, that’s why he’s going to take care of Ricky Saints tonight, and next week Kelani is going to take care of that Triple Threat Match. Show everybody why Kelani Jordan is HER.
