Roman Reigns was left in a heap after WWE Clash in Paris, and now the company says fans won’t have to wait long for answers.
Following the vicious post-match assault by Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, WWE confirmed that Reigns was stretchered out of La Défense Arena and transported to a nearby hospital in Paris for further evaluation. Cathy Kelley broke the news during the post-show, stating that Reigns was undergoing MRIs and x-rays to assess the extent of his injuries.
Most importantly, Kelley revealed that WWE will provide an official medical update on Reigns’ status during tomorrow night’s Monday Night RAW, which will also take place in Paris.
The brutal segment served as a storyline exit for Reigns, who is stepping away from WWE to begin filming the Street Fighter movie. He’s expected to be off TV until late September while shooting wraps up.
Still, fans were left shaken by the violent nature of the attack, which saw Reigns eat multiple Spears and Tsunamis after defeating Bronson Reed earlier in the night.
All eyes now turn to RAW for what WWE promises will be a full update on The Tribal Chief’s condition.
