Randy Orton & Trick Williams Segment

Randy Orton: Man, oh, man, it feels good to be back in this ring. Ladies and gentlemen of Berlin, Germany, welcome to Friday Night SmackDown. Now, I’ve had a few months.

– Trick Williams comes down to the ring to interrupt Randy Orton.

Trick Williams: Let me stop you right there, Randy, because every single week, another star comes out here and says it’s gonna be their year. I don’t care about none of that. Let’s be real, in case you haven’t noticed, a new superstar has arrived, and his name is Trick Williams. I don’t know about Germany, but every country around the world, they love some Trick Willy. But how can they not? I’m 6’5, 250 pounds, 8 abs, 3 chains, 3 cars, 2 feet, just so I could put my two Lemon Pepper Steppas on. Randy Orton, you better do the math. This ain’t 2006, this is 2026, let’s talk about it.

Randy Orton: Wait a minute, wait a minute, you want to talk about it, so let’s talk about it. I’m 6’5, 270, I’ve got 5 kids, and one smoking hot wife, and I do love Lemon Pepper Chicken, but the only number that matters is 14, because that is how many World Titles I have won. But when I look at you, I do see a star, no doubt about it. You’ve got the look, the gift of gab, hell, you are oozing confidence. But there’s one thing, Trick, I’m not quite sure about, and it’s the fact that you chose to come out here and interrupt me, of all people. I mean, I don’t know if you got the brains.

Trick Williams: I gotta agree with you, Randy Orton. Let’s be real, you are one of the greatest of all-time, I acknowledge that, and I appreciate the kind words you said about me, but I have to draw the line, because you said I don’t have the brains. But let’s be real for a second, I’m out here for one reason and one reason only, to brush up against one of the greatest. I’m the only one who is going to seize his opportunity, do what has to be done, so I can brush up against a great one like you, let’s talk about it. But since I do respect you so much, that’s why I came out here, all the way to Berlin, to put you on notice. This ain’t the year of The Viper no more, this is the year of Trick Williams. This is the year we’re gonna whoop that all around the world.

Randy Orton: Now, I don’t know what they’re teaching you down in NXT, but somebody, Trick, they should have told you to never turn your back against The Viper. I’m gonna let that one pass, but if that happens again, I’m not gonna Whoop That Trick, I’m gonna kick your ass.

Trick slapped the microphone out of Randy’s hand. Randy starts throwing haymakers at Trick. Randy launches Trick over the top rope. Randy kicks Trick in the gut. Randy hits The Draping DDT. The Miz attacks Randy from behind. Miz transitions into a ground and pound attack. Randy blocks The Skull Crushing Finale. Randy drops Miz with The RKO to close this segment.

– Byron Saxton had a backstage interview with Giulia and Kiana James. What does regaining the Women’s United States Championship mean to her? Her title is back to where it belongs. Kiana says that her client is an asset, an asset that has an upside that division hasn’t simply accounted for. And soon, Giulia will dominate this entire market. Despite being a former champion, and legend in the industry, Giulia says that she’s going to make an example out of Alexa Bliss. It’s nothing personal, it’s necessary.

– We got a video recap of the Damian Priest/Aleister Black Ambulance Match from last week’s SmackDown.

– Byron Saxton had a backstage interview with Damian Priest. How’s he feeling after the Ambulance Match, and what’s in store for him in 2026? If Priest is being honest, he’s hurting. For six months, Aleister Black put a beating on him. Before the Ambulance Match, Aleister even won some battles, but he won some, too. At the end of the day, Priest won the war. So, what’s next? Priest has seen a lot of people call their shots on the WWE Championship. He wants to join that party, because that road will possibly lead him to somebody that he has a lot of respect for, Cody Rhodes. Drew McIntyre joins the conversation. Before McIntyre says anything, Priest knows how dangerous he is. Maybe McIntyre is right, and he will become the new WWE Champion, it’s a possibility. But if that happens, maybe they get to run it back. Priest wants McIntyre to remind the world how his brains got scrambled the last time they were in the ring with each other. Priest wishes McIntyre luck as he walks away. Saxton asked McIntyre how he’s preparing for Three Stages Of Hell. The emotions are high, not for him, but for Cody Rhodes. What happened last week, the look on Cody’s face as he set that picture of Cody/Dusty on fire, it’s why McIntyre could only imagine the look on Cody’s face when he sees the Gold Rolex Watch that Dusty pawned off to pay for Cody’s future. McIntyre could tell Cody’s future. He’s gonna get disqualified in the first fall, and then all McIntyre needs is one more fall, so that finally Drew McIntyre will be WWE Champion.

– We see Alexa Bliss talking to Charlotte Flair on her cellphone. Charlotte is battling a cold, so she’s not in Germany. Alexa didn’t know anything about this Women’s US Championship Match until today. Obviously, Alexa is not trying to do this without Charlotte. Alexa tells Charlotte to rest and recover. Alexa says that she has to go, because her match is up next, and Nia Jax and Lash Legend are standing in front of her. Nia asked Alexa what’s wrong with The Queen? She’s got the sniffles. Lash Legend finds it funny that, the moment Alexa has a singles title opportunity for herself, Charlotte is nowhere to be found. Alexa says that Lash doesn’t know what she’s talking about. Nia knows exactly what she’s talking about, because Charlotte always has to make things about herself. Alexa says that Nia is only chirping, because that’s exactly something she would do. Alexa has some words of advice for Lash, drop Nia before she brings her down. Alexa tells Nia and Lash to step aside, because she has a match coming up next.

Kit tells Nick to wake up, because Matt Cardona is the embodiment of toxic masculinity. Nick tells Kit to hold that thought and proceeds to shut the door. Kit calls Nick toxic.

– Byron Saxton had a backstage interview with Matt Cardona. How does it feel to officially be back home in the WWE? It’s been almost six years. It feels great. When Matt first left, he had three options. One, be negative, be bitter, feel sorry for myself, and fade into obscurity. Two, he could’ve coasted on the Zack Ryder name for the rest of his career. Or three, reinvent himself, bust his ass, and do whatever it takes to get back to WWE. He chose the third option. Matt proceeds to walk up to Cody Rhodes. Matt gives Cody a big hug. Matt knows that Cody has a big match tonight, but he has total faith in him. It may not be the best time to bring it up, but Matt tells Cody that he’s not just back in the WWE to be back, he’s back to win the WWE Championship.
