– As the show went on the air, Cathy Kelley had a backstage interview with LA Knight. Cathy informed him that Nick Aldis will be looking for a suitable replacement for Sheamus who suffered a shoulder injury last week. Knight assumed that he was advancing to the Semi-Finals, like, in sports where you’re in a tournament, if someone gets hurt and can no longer compete, the opponent advances to the next round. Knight says that anytime he’s starting to get momentum, and getting closer to reaching his destiny, someone continuously is trying to pull the rug out from under his feet. Knight is not going to attack Cathy, she’s just the messenger, plus, her mom is in the building tonight. Knight is gonna keep his focus, because this Last Time Is Now Tournament is starting to piss him off. Knight says that he has all the respect in the world for John Cena, did the tag team thing together. Knight plans on slapping this mystery person back into factory settings tonight, eating a BFT, and catching three the hard way. And that’s not an insult, it’s just as fact of life, with everybody saying, LA Knight, YEAH!

– We see Nick Aldis talking to The Miz in his office. Aldis rolling the tumbler to find a replacement opponent for LA Knight. The Miz is pleading his case to get back in the tournament, he already has his gear on. Aldis tells Miz that this has to be fair, and the entrants have to be chosen at random. Miz says that Aldis should know how important he is to John Cena’s career, he should be Cena’s final opponent at Saturday Night’s Main Event. R-Truth joins the conversation. Truth says that Aldis has something against his balls. Aldis says that’s not the case, he has great respect for Truth’s balls, but he has his own balls. – Cathy Kelley had a backstage interview with Damian Priest. What his response to Aleister Black & Zelina Vega saying that they forced Priest to break his code? His eye is healed. When it comes this code, he doesn’t get it. Priest has always been himself. Like it or not, he’s not going to change. Honestly, the only thing Aleister has accomplished during this time is pissing Priest off. And every single time Priest shows up to the work, the only thing he looks forward to is kicking Aleister’s ass. Zelina Vega joins the conversation. Zelina says that Priest has all this anger. He keeps talking about this punishment, but has he ever noticed that he’s been on the receiving end of all this punishment? Priest asks Zelina if her really, really tough husband sent her to ask him this question? Zelina is not doing this for Aleister, she’s doing it for Priest. Aleister has his eyes on bigger things. The last time anybody was talking about Priest was when Aleister burned his face off. But if Priest insist on more punishment, Aleister would be more than happy to oblige. They just wanted to show Priest how easy it was for them to get to him. Priest tells Cathy that the more Aleister and Zelina talk, the less he understands what they’re saying. Priest gives Rhea Ripley a hug. Priest loves the masks. Ripley says that she has to hype up Charlotte for her WarGames Advantage. Ripley has an idea she wants to run by Priest later on.
