The December 5, 2025 edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown on USA Network featured several memorable moments. This included GUNTHER winning the Last Time Is Now tournament but it seems the show saw a decrease in viewership.
According to Jed I Goodman, SmackDown averaged 1.063 million total viewers, down from the 1.142 million viewers the show drew on November 28, 2025. The P18–49 demographic rating also fell, dropping from 0.28 to 0.24.

This week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown featured a lot of memorable moments and that included GUNTHER defeating LA Knight in the finals of the Last Time Is Now tournament and now he’ll be squaring off against John Cena at Saturday Night’s Main Event next week, in Cena’s final match.
Cody Rhodes also continued his feud with Drew McIntyre as he called for Drew McIntyre’s reinstatement following his suspension. This and other memorable moments took place throughout the night.
