The October 10, 2025 episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown had plenty of things going for it and that included Shinsuke Nakamura finally making his return to WWE television. However, the show still saw a decrease in viewership.
According to Programming Insider, WWE SmackDown averaged 1.024 million viewers on USA Network, down marginally from the 1.030 million viewers recorded on October 3, 2025. In the key P18–49 demographic, the show scored a 0.22 rating, a slight decrease from last week’s 0.23.

This week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown featured a lot of memorable moments and that included Shinsuke Nakamura returning to accept Sami Zayn’s US Title Open Challenge.
Tama Tonga also returned at the end of the Nakamura and Zayn match as the MFT beat down both of them to stand tall. This and many other moments took place throughout the night.
