Xavier Woods has officially confirmed he’s sticking around in WWE — but not before clowning fans for finding out before he said anything himself.
Shortly after news broke that Woods had signed a new multi-year deal with the company, the New Day star took to Twitter with a trademark mix of humor and swagger. Reacting to the reports about his contract extension, Woods wrote:
“How do yall know this stuff? I didn’t say anything! But yes. You’re gonna see my sexy face for a while longer even though you don’t deserve it.”
The longtime WWE star went on to reflect on his career and teased an even stronger run ahead. Woods ended the post by tagging WWE and dropping a few of his signature hashtags.
“22 years in the game and about to make the next bit even better than the rest.”
As noted earlier today, Woods’ new deal nearly came down to the wire. His previous contract was set to expire in September 2025, but both sides finalized the agreement just last month.
