NEW YORK — The Yankees have made one of the earliest decisions of their offseason, picking up a $3 million option on left-hander on Wednesday. The club also declined right-hander ‘s $5 million option for 2026.

Hill, 35, was 4-4 with a 3.09 ERA in a team-leading 70 appearances for the Bombers this past season, his second year with New York.

Opponents batted .231/.276/.363 against Hill, including a .181/.224/.220 slash line from left-handed batters (23-for-127, one home run). Hill did not allow an earned run in 53 of his 70 appearances, recording at least four outs in 15 games.

Hill rejoins a Yankees bullpen that projects to be anchored by David Bednar and Camilo Doval, with Luke Weaver and Devin Williams among the club’s free agents.
