Yanks acquire Amed Rosario in deal with Nationals

The Yankees acquired infielder Amed Rosario from the Nationals for right-hander Clayton Beeter (Yankees’ No. 20 prospect) and outfielder Browm Martinez, an 18-year-old in the Dominican Summer League, the clubs announced on Saturday night.

Rosario, 29, entered Saturday hitting .270/.310/.426 with five homers and 18 RBIs in 46 games. The nine-year veteran has played third base, second base, shortstop and outfield this season.
