Your ultimate guide to watching every USC men’s and women’s basketball game this season

by

As both USC men’s and women’s basketball ramp up for their respective seasons, there is plenty to be excited about for both squads. Trojan fans really should be tuning in on TV and heading out to Galen Center as often as they can so they don’t miss out on the excitement.

But if you are like me and want to watch every minute of Year 2 of the Muss Bus and every minute of USC’s newest dynamic duo Jazzy Davidson and Kennedy Smith as you can, how should you divide your time?

Well, here’s your ultimate guide to every day there is a USC men’s or women’s basketball regular season game, the TV networks, venues, and which game to prioritize if they are happening simultaneously.

Every doubleheader, every tournament, every detail, it’s all here. So make sure to check it out so you can be well prepared like me.

Monday November 3: Men’s Basketball opening night vs Cal Poly

It sounds like Rodney Rice, one of the best transfers in the country, may be healthy enough to make his Trojan debut against the Mustangs. With an almost completely new roster, there are plenty of other new Trojans to get to know as well. Catch this one at the Galen Center, or on B1G+ at 6:30 p.m. PT.

Tuesday November 4: Women’s basketball opening night vs New Mexico State

Jazzy Davidson, the No. 1 recruit in the country, makes her Trojan debut. Plus, see just how much Kennedy Smith has grown this offseason and how transfers like Kara Dunn will impact the Trojans. It’ll be a second consecutive night of excitement at Galen Center, and this one is also available to watch on B1G+ at 7 p.m. PT.

Sunday November 9: An away/home doubleheader!

No. 18 women’s basketball heads to Charlotte, North Carolina to take on No. 9 NC State at noon PT. Then, men’s basketball takes on Manhattan at 3 pm PT at Galen Center.

You can obviously catch both games, as the women’s game will be long over by the time the men’s game starts. If you only have time to watch 1 basketball game Sunday, pick the women’s game, since it is one of their biggest of the season. It’s also more widely available for most people who have cable television, as it is a nationally televised game.

But you could also choose the men’s game if you prefer being in person to watching on TV.

The women’s game will be on ESPN, and the men’s game will be broadcast on B1G+. The first 2,000 fans in attendance at the men’s game will receive a free lei for what USC is calling a “welcome back luau.”

Friday November 14: Men’s basketball at the Intuit Dome!

This should be a special night for Eric Musselman and the crew, who will take on Illinois State at the Intuit Dome, the high-tech new home of the NBA’s Los Angeles Clippers!

Get tickets to this one-of-a-kind experience if you can, but if not, the game will be broadcast on Peacock at 4:30 p.m. PT.

Saturday November 15: Women’s basketball at Crypto.com arena!

Yep, it’s back-to-back nights at showstopping venues. And this one is women’s basketball against No. 2 South Carolina…to determine who “The Real SC” really is!

Again, get tickets to this if you can, but if you’re planning to watch on TV, tune in at 6 p.m. PT on Fox.

Tuesday November 18: women’s basketball faculty and staff appreciation

The Trojans return home for the first time in 2 weeks to take on Portland at Galen Center at 7 p.m. PT. Make sure to be in the building if you are a USC staff member, it sounds like they are planning something special. It will be broadcast on B1G+.

Thursday November 20: men’s basketball faculty and staff appreciation

The men take their turn honoring USC’s faculty and staff during their game against Troy at Galen Center at 7 p.m. PT. This game will be broadcast on the B1G Network.

Friday November 21: women’s revenge game against Notre Dame

Whether you’re still bitter about USC football‘s loss to Notre Dame two weeks ago or USC women’s basketball’s loss to Notre Dame last season, this is the ultimate opportunity for you to cheer hard for the Trojans as they seek revenge on the No. 15 Fighting Irish.

The Trojans will be in South Bend this time. The rivalry game starts at 3 p.m. PT and will be broadcast on ESPN.

Monday November 24: men kick off the Maui Invitational

The Muss bus heads to Hawaii! The Trojans are set to take on Boise State in an intriguing non conference matchup. The game is a little early, at 2 p.m. PT, so good luck getting out of work or school to catch this one. But it will be broadcast on ESPN2 if you can manage to swing it.

Tuesday November 25: TBD

The women have a home game against Tennessee Tech at 7 p.m. PT. So if you prioritize live and in-person basketball, get out to Galen for that, no question.

The men are playing a TBD opponent at a TBD time, however. They will play NC State or Seton Hall.

It will be at an early time, as it is another game in Hawaii, so you can catch both games regardless. But if you have time for only 1 game and the men end up taking on NC State, the Wolfpack are a borderline Top-25 team. The women should easily blow out Tennessee Tech, so the men vs. NC State will almost certainly be the more dramatic matchup.

The men’s basketball game will be on ESPN if the Trojans are in the winner’s bracket and ESPN2 if they are not.

Wednesday November 26: championship Wednesday?

Men’s basketball will finish up the Maui invitational on Wednesday, and if all goes well, they could be in the championship game of the tournament. Washington State, Chaminade, Arizona State and Texas are possible opponents.

Game time and network are TBD.

Friday November 28: great day for kids at women’s basketball

Looking for something to do with your family on Black Friday that’s not going to an overcrowded Target in search of your fourth flat screen TV so you can watch USC basketball in the bathtub? Head to Galen Center!

Women’s basketball will be taking on SoCal rival Pepperdine at 2 p.m. PT, and it’s kids day! There will be a pregame kid zone with poster making and an airbrush station. The first 300 kids 13 and under receive a free trading card of the pitbull herself, Malia Samuels. And stick around after the game for postgame autographs! Bring your kids, nieces, nephews, cousins, everybody.

If you can’t make it out in-person, the game will be broadcast on B1G+.

Tuesday December 2: uh oh, you gotta pick

This is the first instance during the season where both teams will be playing at the same time. Women’s basketball has a game against St. Mary’s at Galen Center. Men’s basketball is headed to Eugene to take on Oregon. Both are at 7 p.m. PT.

If going in person is important to you, pick women’s basketball. The first 300 fans under 13 receive a Londynn Jones trading card. If conference play is the bigger deal, pick men’s basketball. If you absolutely can’t miss either one, use multiple devices or a split screen view.

Just don’t go to women’s basketball and then just watch men’s basketball on your phone the whole time. If you want to head out to Galen, own your choice and be present and attentive. If you can’t miss men’s basketball’s conference opener, stay home.

Saturday December 6: men’s conference home opener

For some reason, the men are coming right back home from their one game in the Pacific Northwest to play Pacific Northwest team Washington. I don’t know either. I don’t make the rules, or the schedule, evidently.

But this should be a fun conference home opener. Washington boasts two talented former Trojans on their roster, Desmond Claude and Wesley Yates III, and former Trojan assistant coach Quincy Pondexter. If you’re headed to the game, make sure to wear black. If you’re staying home, it will be broadcast on the B1G Network and start at 3 p.m. PT.

Sunday December 7: Husky deja vu

Women’s basketball’s conference opener is a Galen Center home game against the Huskies. It starts at 5 p.m. and will be broadcast on the B1G Network. Fans in attendance are also advised to wear black. Trojan fans will also get to witness the return of Avery Howell, who transferred out of USC this offseason.

Tuesday December 9: San Diego

Melman would love this matchup, and if you understood that reference, you’re awesome.

Men’s basketball heads to San Diego for a rare Southern California non-conference away game. If you can make the trip or are a San Diego local, the game starts at 6 p.m. PT at Jenny Craig Pavillion. It will be broadcast on ESPN 2.

Saturday December 13: Husky deja vu all over again

USC-UConn is one of the great new rivalries in women’s basketball. The Huskies have beaten the Trojans during each of the last 2 Elite 8s, but USC got the better of the eventual national champions during the 2024-25 regular season in Storrs. And they very well could have beaten UConn in the tournament this past season if JuJu Watkins was not injured.

The Trojans will face a tall task in trying to take down the No. 1 team in the country. But, the team and the fans also have a great opportunity to show the Huskies that playing in LA is tough, too. USC fans in attendance are encouraged to wear white.

If you can’t make it out to Galen Center, the game will be broadcast on FOX. It will tip off at 2:30 p.m.

Sunday December 14: Tis the season

To close out an eventful weekend, the USC men take on former Pac-12 rival Washington State at Galen Center for “Muss Christmas”. Last season, that meant an awesome “Muss Bus” Christmas sweater giveaway and free toys for every kid. Who knows what Jolly Ol’ St. Muss is dialing up for the celebrations this year, but you won’t want to miss it.

The game tips off at 4:30 p.m. and will be broadcast on FS1.

Wednesday December 17: beep beep

It’s men’s basketball against the UTSA Roadrunners at Galen Center. It tips off at 6 p.m. PT and can be seen on the B1G Network.

Thursday December 18: Happy birthday to me!

Yes, this is the birthday of yours truly, Trojans Wire writer and Voice of College Football podcast host Ethan Inman. In my honor, please watch women’s basketball take on Cal Poly, a school that I happen to strongly despise.

It tips off at 7 p.m. at Galen Center and will be broadcast on B1G+. If you go in person, you may see yours truly on his birthday. No confirmed plans yet, but I don’t know any way I’d rather spend my birthday than watching USC women’s basketball.

Sunday December 21: A home/away doubleheader

Reverse reverse! Men’s and women’s basketball both play on December 21, but this time, the men are at Galen at 1 p.m. PT vs Brown and the women will be in San Francisco at Chase Center at 5:30 p.m. vs. Cal.

The women get to play at an iconic venue against Gottlieb’s former team on ESPN2, and the men’s game will be broadcast on the B1G Network.

Monday December 29: Lincoln

Hopefully this is USC’s second straight successful trip to Lincoln after football takes care of business on Saturday. Women’s basketball will take on Nebraska at 12:30 p.m. PT on B1G+.

Friday January 2, 2026: Merry Crisler, Happy New Year

Crisler Center is a cool spot, I saw it on my trip to Michigan to cover USC football last year. Men’s basketball takes on Michigan in Ann Arbor at 4 p.m. on Peacock.

Saturday January 3, 2026: Don’t Bett on UCLA

Not much needs to be said other than women’s basketball goes to Pauley Pavillion to take on preseason No. 3 UCLA at 5 p.m. PT on Peacock. That sells itself, as do the Betts sisters.

Monday January 5, 2026: A road trip that makes sense

Right after playing Michigan in Ann Arbor, men’s basketball plays…Michigan State in East Lansing! Now that’s a road trip that makes sense.

The Spartans will likely be ranked, and USC wants a repeat of last year, when they upset Michigan State at home. The game kicks off at 5:30 p.m. PT on FS1.

Tuesday January 6, 2026: don’t duck the challenge

It can be challenging to get fans to Galen for these conference home games that happen before students return to campus for the second semester to resume classes.

So it’s up to you, reader, to get out there and cheer on women’s basketball against Oregon at 7 p.m. If you are still away for break or cannot otherwise make it, it will be broadcast on the B1G network.

Friday January 9, 2026: Minnesota!

MINNESOTAAAAAA! Another reference I hope you get. Men’s basketball takes on a talented Gophers team at 5:30 p.m. PT in Minneapolis, and it will be broadcast on the B1G network.

Sunday January 11, 2026: Minnesota 2!

I’d assume the mens and women’s teams will travel together for this trip, which is cool! The women’s basketball game will be at at 12 p.m. PT, and it will be broadcast on B1G+.

Tuesday January 13, 2026: Terra-pin this to your calendar

Do people have physical calendars anymore? Men’s basketball takes on Maryland at 7:30 p.m. at Galen Center, broadcast on Fox Sports 1. USC star transfer guard Rodney Rice will be taking on his old team, which should be an interesting storyline.

Thursday January 15, 2026: A big giveaway for a big game

Maryland women’s basketball comes into the season as a Top 10 team, meaning this is another marquee matchup at Galen Center Trojan fans won’t want to miss.

USC is also handing out Gold replica jerseys to the first 1,000 fans for their “Gold Out” and Kennedy Smith trading cards to the first 300 kids.

The game starts at 6 p.m. and will be broadcast on Peacock.

Saturday January 17, 2026: unique challenge, unique energy

This is a can’t-miss game for USC basketball fans. Men’s basketball will be taking on Purdue, the preseason No. 1 team in the country.

USC athletics has responded accordingly, planning a “stripe-out” game for Trojan fans. Fans sitting in even numbered sections are instructed to wear cardinal, while fans sitting in odd numbered sections are instructed to wear gold.

If you can make it out to Galen Center, you may just see one of the biggest upsets in USC history. The game kicks off at 3 p.m. PT and will be streamed on Peacock.

Saturday January 18, 2026: Boilermaker brunch

A friend group of mine has an ongoing debate about what times are socially appropriate to call a meal “brunch”. We have gone passionately back and forth for months about what time constraints “brunch” falls under, or if there are time constraints at all. Well, USC women’s basketball has officially taken their stance on the debate. With purchase of a $30 ticket package to this 2 p.m. game, USC fans will receive…brunch!

Wow, brunch after noon? That’s a hot take.

They can also watch USC women’s basketball take their turn at trying to beat the Boilermakers. In person at Galen Center, on B1G+, and eating brunch, lunch, or whatever meal they so desire.

Wednesday January 21, 2026: pink and purple

Do we think USC men’s basketball intentionally scheduled their Pink Game vs Northwestern to create this colorful extravaganza? USC goes pink for Breast Cancer awareness against the Big Ten’s favorite purple team, Northwestern.

The game starts at 8pm and will be broadcast on the B1G Network.

Thursday January 22, 2026: Michigan State-ment

USC women’s basketball and Michigan State women’s basketball are both expected to be in the top half of the conference and finish between seeds 3-6. A win here could help USC prove they are still among the conference’s elite, even without JuJu Watkins.

The away game in East Lansing kicks off at 5 p.m. PT on the B1G network.

Sunday January 25, 2026: set it to W for Wumbo

I’m reminded of the iconic “W for Wumbo” SpongeBob Squarepants moment for this basketball doubleheader. Women’s basketball takes on Michigan starting at 11 a.m. PT, and then men’s basketball flips the M into a W as they take on Wisconsin at 1 p.m. PT.

If you want to flip right around and watch both, the women’s game is on the B1G network and the men’s game is on B1G+. Both could very well be ranked matchups, so if you have to pick one, revisit this on January 25 and pick whichever USC game features the opponent that is ranked higher.

Wednesday January 28, 2026: Carver-ing up the Hawkeyes

Men’s basketball heads to Iowa City and takes on the Iowa Hawkeyes, beginning at 4 p.m. PT on the B1G network.

Thursday January 29, 2026: Kayla Padilla appreciation night

Okay, so it’s not actually officially Kayla Padilla appreciation night. But when USC takes on Iowa at 6 pm, it will be WNBA & Alumni night. And I am hoping for an appearance from Padilla, my favorite USC women’s basketball player of all time.

But whomever shows up, it’ll be star-studded regardless. Also, the first 300 fans 13 and under will receieve a Kara Dunn trading card, so if you’re completing a season-long collection, make sure to get to Galen Center.

The game will be broadcast on Peacock.

Saturday January 31, 2026: Don’t get stuck in a Rut

Men’s basketball had a memorable B1G tournament game against Rutgers, and they will get their latest chance to beat the Scarlet Knights at 4 p.m. PT at Galen Center. The game will be broadcast on Peacock.

Sunday February 1, 2026: school is in session

Women’s basketball gets their shot at Rutgers at 2 p.m. on B1G+. At Galen, the day will feature a special event for kids in collaboration with local schools.

Tuesday February 3, 2026: the capital comes to the pLAce

Indiana comes to Galen Center for the first time to take on men’s basketball, tipping off at Galen Center at 7 p.m. PT and streaming on Peacock.

Thursday February 5, 2026: a B1G first

Women’s basketball was scheduled to play Northwestern last season, but the game was ultimately canceled due to the wildfires in the Los Angeles region. So they will take on the Wildcats in a conference matchup for the first time EVER in Evanston. The game tips off at 6 PM and will be broadcast on the B1G network.

Sunday February 8, 2026: Biggest Noon Sunday

Two games start start at noon local time. Men’s basketball takes on Penn State at 9 a.m. PT on the B1G network and women’s basketball takes on Illinois at 10 a.m. PT on B1G+.

I don’t think this will be a ranked opponent either way, so if you don’t want to flip back in forth, pick men’s basketball. I’d assume they’ll be at a spot at this point in the season where every win is crucial to their chances of making the NCAA tournament. Women’s basketball should be more comfortably in contention.

Wednesday February 11, 2026: Buckeyes on the Bubble

USC men’s basketball and Ohio State are both expected to be teams fighting for one of the final NCAA tournament spots. This could be a big game for both squads. It tips off in Columbus at 3:30 p.m. PT on the B1G network.

Thursday February 12, 2026: a home stretch

Women’s basketball kicks off what should be a needed, relaxing week at home with a matchup against Indiana at Galen Center. It starts at 7 p.m. and will be aired on the B1G network.

Wednesday February 18, 2026: channeling their inner Jordan

USC hasn’t released many details about this, but they will be honoring former Trojan and current San Antonio Spurs guard Jordan McLaughlin during this game against Illinois. The game starts at 7 p.m. PT and will be aired on the B1G network. If you are going to Galen Center, make sure you arrive early to catch the festivities.

Thursday February 19, 2026: The Pink Badger

This sounds like a wacky spinoff of “The Pink Panther.” Women’s basketball plays the Wisconsin Badgers in their annual “Play4Kay” breast cancer awareness pink game. It tips off at 7 p.m. PT at Galen Center and will be streamed on Peacock. Assumedly, there will be a t-shirt giveaway, and young USC WBB fans can complete their card collection with a Jazzy Davidson trading card if they are one of the first 300 fans under 13 in attendance.

Saturday February 21, 2026: showing Oregon what elite looks like

Okay, okay, so Oregon technically has 1 men’s basketball NCAA tournament championship and USC has 0. But I couldn’t resist trolling Oregon football fans.

And men’s basketball will honor the 25th anniversary of their 2001 Elite 8 squad during this game, closing out “USC Legend Weekend.”

The game tips of at 1 p.m. PT at Galen Center and will air on Fox Sports 1.

Sunday February 22, 2026: last trip

Women’s basketball heads across the country for the final time this season to take on Ohio State in Columbus. The game time and TV network has not yet been decided, but it will start at either 9 or 11 a.m. PT and air on either Fox or FS1.

Tuesday February 24, 2026: put a Dent in the Bruins

Much has been made of UCLA transfer Donovan Dent, who many people believe has the kind of skillset that could carry the Bruins to a deep tournament run.

USC will travel across town and try to damage that narrative. They take on the Bruins at 8 p.m. at Pauley Pavilion, with the game airing on Fox Sports 1.

Wednesday February 25, 2026: the Penn-ultimate game

One final tuneup before their season finale against UCLA. Women’s basketball finishes off their last road trip of the regular season with a game against Penn State in Happy Valley at 3 p.m. PT. The game will air on B1G+.

Saturday February 28, 2026: just beat Big Red

I don’t have any quips or puns. I can’t help it, all I can think about is football going into Lincoln and beating Nebraska this Saturday. So hopefully they do that, and hopefully Nebraska men’s basketball doesn’t have any fun on their trip to Galen Center to take on the Trojans either.

The men’s basketball game starts at 1 pm and will air on the B1G network.

Sunday March 1, 2026: Lon-done with UCLA

Remember last year’s USC-UCLA women’s basketball matchup at Galen Center? Whew, that was a classic. And two years ago, they broke every attendance record. It’s been a great couple years of this rivalry.

I didn’t bring it up for the previous UCLA game, but both matchups will be an intriguing reunion for Londynn Jones, who transferred from UCLA to USC this offseason. Will she elevate her game against her former teammates?

The show stopping women’s basketball regular season finale starts at 3 p.m. and will air on Fox Sports 1.

March 4, 2026: the conquest of Seattle

I just really don’t think USC and Washington are going to like each other very much after all of the offseason moves. It would be great to beat Yates III and Claude in their return to LA, but it would be extra sweet to go on the road and beat them at their new home.

Catch this at 7:30 p.m. PT on the B1G network.

March 7, 2026: grand finale of LA

March madness doesn’t start with the First Four, it starts with USC-UCLA! There’s no better way to finish off the regular season than watching Bruins-Trojans at 6 p.m., at Galen Center or on Fox Sports 1.

Recap

Whew. If you made it this far after all of those puns and some lighthearted analysis, you are a true diehard Trojan basketball fan and I appreciate you.

Credit women’s basketball for scheduling such an interesting non conference schedule. There are so many games on their schedule, especially early in the season, that feel like can’t miss matchups.

To watch every game on here, you will need access to 7 platforms (channels or streaming services): B1G+, B1G Network, ESPN, ESPN 2, Fox, Fox Sports 1, and Peacock.

Excited to watch and attend games with you all!
