Zayda Steel Threatens to Block Fans Over AI-Generated Photos of Her

by

Zayda Steel isn’t playing around when it comes to AI-generated images — and she made that crystal clear with one blunt tweet.

On February 22, 2026, the AEW star took to Twitter with a direct warning aimed at anyone thinking about using AI tools to create altered photos of her: “If you make any AI photos of me, you will get blocked immediately. Goodnight”

Steel’s message was short, direct, and left no room for interpretation. The warning comes after concerns about AI-generated imagery being used to manipulate photos of women in wrestling and entertainment.

The controversy began when a Twitter user attempted to use Grok AI to alter normal photos of Jordynne Grace by prompting the tool to simulate near-nude imagery. Grace responded by calling for legal action, stating there needs to be laws in place to stop this kind of behavior: “There needs to be laws against this put into place immediately.”

While Grace pushed for legal action, Steel’s approach is more immediate — if you cross that line, you’re gone from her page. So, as AI tools become more advanced and accessible, wrestlers are speaking up before problems escalate. In the end, Steel’s stance makes one thing clear — she’s not waiting for policy changes to defend her boundaries.
