Zelina Vega has gone through a lot in her journey with WWE. From a controversial release in 2020 to a return to triumph, now she is embarking on a new journey with her real-life husband, Aleister Black, and that came with an interesting angle involving Cody Rhodes.
During the November 7 episode of WWE SmackDown, Aleister Black and Zelina Vega had a segment with Cody Rhodes. This resulted in Vega slapping the taste out of Cody’s mouth, and that drew a fair amount of attention.
Cinna is a Twitch streamer known for her love of pro wrestling and collaborations with WWE stars like Zelina Vega and Aleister Black. Although she is not a wrestler herself, she’s had enough influence to even inspire Zelina Vega to add a little extra spice to her slap on Cody Rhodes.
In a new video with Cinna, Zelina Vega spoke a bit about this recent storyline. She also revealed what she said to Cody Rhodes before that infamous slapping incident.
“The camera goes from the slap and then stays on Cody, but I go, ‘that one was for Cinna.”
To that, Cinna said that Cody Rhodes probably doesn’t even know who she is. That being said, she also apologized to Cody for the slap, even though she had nothing to do with it.
We will have to see what WWE does with Aleister Black and Zelina Vega next. At this point, the two have received a good spotlight after finally pairing up on screen after being married for years. This new era for Zelina also came with a bit of a name change.
